Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy amber color with a one finger-ed white foamy head that dies within about a minute and leaves some decent sliding lacing. The smell had a burnt caramel maltiness running about it. The taste was mainly malty but not exactly the most desirable, borderline bland. On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Overall, last Roscoe’s to upload here and there’s nothing impressive about any of their beers. I don’t think their beers are bad, they’re just not something to really seek out.

Bottle from Tesco Wrexham. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin quickly dissipating off-white head. Aroma is slightly malty caramel. Taste is smooth malt, caramel, nutty and slight hops. Decent carbonation, not much of an aftertaste. Tastes a little like a poor man’s Brooklyn lager or Sam Adams Boston lager. Okay but not as bad as people have been rating previously.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear amber body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of wet cardboard, honey and wood. Flavour is basically a corny Lager but with more musty sweetness. Sour metallic finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. A very dull beer - tastes like a poor homebrew. I couldn’t finish it.

Bottle from Tesco’s. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is rich woody resin hop. The flavour is medium sweet light bitter with a big zesty fruit malt light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 330ml. A golden colour with a small head. Aroma of honey with vegetable notes. Flavour of brown sugar rather than honey with some underlying malt notes. An initially floral finish giving way to sour citrus and vegetable. Moderate carbonation. Not quite sure what to make of this - it’s a little too sweet for my liking and spoiled by some off notes in the finish.

355ml bottle from Tesco, Camberley. Amber with a loose, fast fading, white head; musty aroma with a trace of honey; honey flavour, but not too sweet, and with a soft biscuity malt body; then some light bitterness and warmth to finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a thin white head, sweet malt aroma, taste is light and watery however the honey does come through with a dry finish.
