Bottle--nice head and golden color with a larger amount of carbonation. The aroma is malty with little hops. Taste was a watered down malt and slightly creamy finish A run of the mill beer. ABC.

Pours a clear golden color with a fluffy white head on top. Aroma pale malts, faint citrus and some sweet floral notes. Taste is faintly sweet malts, light citrus and a harsh but bland bitterness. Wow glad I split this bottle.

12 oz brown bottle. Gold pour, some haze. Small white cap on top, thin rings on foam in the glass. Nose has some light citrus hops. Taste has caramel malts, some mild grapefruity notes, some grassy notes. Modest bitterness. Aftertaste has vague citrus, almost a lime note. Pretty plain.

Pours a mostly clear golden-amber colour with a small white blanket on top. Aroma is light grass and citrus hops with a sweet maltiness mixed in. Flavour is a grassy, mild bitterness throughout, an initial faint malt sweetness and overall a bit watery. This is a result of sherbrookes shelf of wounded singles which in the past has been known to pay off quite well from time to time or in this case be a bit of a dud not to say this is a terrible beer but it isn’t a memorable one.

Surprisingly good pale ale. Nice hoppy flavor to is. 6 pack was cheap too, I wasn’t expecting much but it was good stuff.

March 28, 2013; 12 oz. bottle. Had high hopes for this on the pour & nose. Nicely coloured; ample head, sturdy lacing. Vaguely Anchor Steam-ish aroma. The bitterness and malt is there, just nothing in the way of sweetness, leaving a metallic mouthfeel. Interesting for a Genesee product (not indicated on the label), but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Very drinkable pale ale - good session beer. Nothing special nothing needing to be special - This was on sale for like $6.99 or something...

Hazy, orange, red, minimal head, doughy, floral, medium bitterness, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, bitter aftertaste. They named the "Hop House" part correctly. Found 12 on sale at Meijer for $9.99, so I took a chance. More interesting (and cheaper) than Miller Lite. It kind of grows on you. I might buy it again, but not for the $12.99 retail. Guessing this was a closeout, so au revoir Roscoe.
