12oz bottle pours gold with an offwhite head. Aroma is caramel-light malt. Taste is caramel-light malt, some spice hop. Decent training wheels starter.

Bottle from a local Save Mart. Pours very light amber with a foamy near-white head. Aroma seems soapy pine. Near med body with frothy carbonation. Flavors of weak roast caramel and weak hop. Not very offensive, but nothing to get excited about. Glad I got a single!

Tmoney99 (8778) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 5, 2010
Bottle in Ludington , MI. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with frair lacing. Moderate hop and malt aroma. Medium body with thin smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew.

hopscotch (8215) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Bottle… Clear orange ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Good retention. The bouquet is subdued, but finally offers bready, citrusy and caramely notes. Light to medium-bodied with a thin mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor is well-balanced but mostly bland, presenting modest notes of cereal grains, caramel and apple. Finishes flat and uninspiring.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Toasted grainy aromas with some corn. Tastes of the same with some sweetness.

Amber pour. The nose has a mix of lightly fruity/citrusy hop aroma. A very light pale malt backbone. Fairly assertive hoppiness. Well-balanced with a light kiss of fruity esters on the back. Pretty decent, if simple, pale ale.

Amber pour, very small head. Aroma has some soap and some muddy apple flavor maybe...aroma leads me to believe it will be subpar...and it is. Lots of caramel, an odd plastic flavor and rather poor hop presence.

DocLock (6789) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 6, 2011
Bottle from Meijer’s in Sandusky, Ohio. Pours clear medium copper with 2-finger frothy white head and a lot of carbonation streams. Nose is floral, pale malt, mild hops. Tastes caramel malty, with an overall sweetness, some florals and hops, and a fairly smooth finish. Surprised to see this one is brewed by Genessee, but the town should have clued me in. Overall average at best.

Dogbrick (6022) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2012
This beer is a clear pale yellow-orange color with a thin rocky white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grain and slight hops. Light to medium body with a grainy malt character and a slight grassy hops note. The finish is metallic with a short astringent aftertaste. Not a good beer.

Braudog (5025) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JUL 25, 2010
Bottle. Pours a crystal clear copper color with a thin fizzy head. The aroma is a bit mashy. The beer drinks with a sour-tangy aspect, almost green-appley, and finishes with a musty funkiness you usually get in cheaper macro offerings. (#3952, 7/25/2010)
