Drinks of the World, Bern flip top bottle: Pours pale with white head. Aroma is grainy. Taste is grainy and a bit bitter and grassy. Not a bad beer, but the new bottle design is more exciting than the beer.

(bottle) clear pale golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of nettles and herbal hops, with a hint of wax, some yoghurt, earth and yeast. flavour is more of the same, caramelized malts, bran flakes and butter, with some more yeast and a semi-dry chalky finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Almost clear paleish gold beer. Residual white head. Light palate, dry and a little crisp. Dry papery malt - sweet too! Touch of floralness and a whisper of hop citrus. Dry finish. Too much paper.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, sour green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
