This was a dark black stout with a great head. Loved the aromas and the flavor was not bad but it seemed as though it was watered down. It was weak and did not have a huge thick feeling. I was a tad disappointed with the lack of deep malt flavor and missed the chocolate and coffee flavors which should be in the beer. I wish I could give a high score but I am true to my beer. It needs more work on recipe.
Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Sep 24, 2006 After seeing my notetaking, my hosts insisted I try this and the 100 Mile Wheat; The stout had a nice visual appeal ... pitch black with a nice brown head. Big thick consistency and roasty character, this is a good stout.
