3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 janubio (279) - - DEC 29, 2012330 ml. bottle. Black colour with a brown head, looks alike a Guinnes or some other stout. The head dissapears quickly, but all the while and some lace. Smell: At first it smelled to me like a red wine, then coffee, chocolate, hazelnuts and toasted notes appeared. Very promising, but... very thin in the palate, watery. And the taste, i don’t think the aromas transferred to it, only hints of chocolate, milk, coffee and hazelnuts Good, but it can be better, I’ll try it again in the future.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 OleR (4247) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 1, 2013
0.33 L bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Small light brown bubble head. Dark mahogny brown body with good clarity. Mild dryish cocoa-ish nutty malt aroma. Taste is on the sweet side of bittersweet. Light watered down, with tones of malt drops and peppery caramel. Noticable earthy bitterness. Light caramel malty ending. Does not stand out, yet a pretty decent and quaffable Brown.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Palme (2234) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2013
0.33l bottle. Yeah, it’s a negra one. As good as black in the glass and it has a small quickly sidesticking bubbly light tan head. On the nose this reminds me of leather shoes - the once I use in weddings and Christmas tables. Also, some roastiness with lot’s of dark malts and and a little coffee-dryness. it’s quite average on the carbonation with a soft oily mouthfeel. Roasted and slightly burned "thin" flavors. It definitely tastes black. Some sweet type licorice and more leather also appears. Most likely psychological, but I also get a thin ink-like flavor. Really light drinkable actually. Yeah, I did not mind this one a bit. 12.10.2012

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 sfuen03 (138) - Barcelona, SPAIN - NOV 15, 2012
Bottle, tulip glass, aprox 10ºC. A little bit dissapointed by this one; Gardenia makes very good stuff but this one seemed not very worthy. Black brown, somehow sad appareance; decent brown head which dissapears fast. Nice but weak aroma, a little roasted chocolate & licorice. Nice but unoriginal taste, nothing to be remebered; boring aftertaste. Nothing more than decent.
