2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Honey like coloured, small white dense head. Aroma is a bit sweet, fizzling, it’s to me a sort of witbier , with orange, nice but nothing special.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
0.33L bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. A tall foamy white head, over a hazed, brass colored body. Doughy and buttery pale malts in the nose. Also a hint of citrus zest, and a sharp herbal note. Taste is quite yeasty and doughy. Light malt body, not very sweet, with a weak herbal bitterness. Some strange artifical fruit tones, too. Light-bodied and unrefined in the mouth. Not a favorite of mine.

Botte from Carrefour, Bilbao, Basque Country, Northern Spain, July 2011 consumed 31.07.11 Pours gold with white head that fizzes then disappears. Sweet corny nose, sweet corny taste . Malty with biscuits and butter in fact buttery popcorn. Not that impressed I’m afraid, could end up on the vegetable garden. A6 A3 T4 P2 Ov9 2.3

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours pale amber wtih a small, quickly fading head.
Nose shows citrus, sherbet, a herbal/vegetal character and floral, perfume-like notes. And some bananas. Pretty wierd.
Similar strange flavours, with doughy malt, more floral perfum and and more of the vegetal character. Very little bitterness.
Too much carbonation.
A bit of a mess.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0.33l bottle. Pours a really cloudy orange body with a small off-white bubbly head. Aroma is light tarty and mild lime-sour with notes of yeast and a hint of orange zest. Has a watery mouthfeeling, average to soft carbonation and light- to medium-bodied. Kinda blend flavors. Light and watery malts, some light caramel with hints of honey. Ends light bitter and really mild hay-sour. A quickly forgettable beer that I’m quite sure I wont be trying again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Gusher. Big offwhite lasting head. Hazy yellow body with carbonation. Bready yeasty herbal aroma with butterscotch notes. Musty and buttery, not at all fresh. Sweet-dryish dusty grainy taste with butterscotch notes. Mid-to-light body. Slick mouthfeel. Dryish earthy grainy butterscotch aftertaste with vegetable notes. Too sweet, no freshness, not very clean. I’m unimpressed. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

Hazy gold beer. Dry palate, a little crisp. Lagerish but with a honey tone. Doesn’t really hang together.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a hazy deep honey-hued body with a medium foamy white head. Nose is cereals, honey and floral hints. Taste is very similar; slightly yeasty honey tones with hints of floral hops. Otherwise, not much going on. The Norwegian-printed label claims it to be spontaneously fermented, but I find that very hard to believe. There’s not a trace of anything even slightly reminiscent of a lambic, sour, wild or anything else, at least. Refreshing enough and paired fairly well with my simple (and not too spicy) chicken-veggies-pasta dinner. But otherwise this is rather forgettable.
