Glowing body, light brown and with stable frothy head. Candy sugar, sweaty malts, fairly clean yeast, bit of spices. Better than I expected. Taste is thin though and simple, bit too much nutmeg and big bubbles that don’t fit the light cookie body. Still, it’s not a bad brew, but if you make a Belgian strong ale at least try to make it as rich and full bodied, or go a modern route. (33cl bottle from La Birreria Andorra)

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of moldy hay, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, perfume, and moldy hay, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

My Bottom Line :
Toasted spices, orange candy and cantaloup-like fruitiness provide intrigue in this otherwise mellow Christmas brew.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A creamy veil of foam tops the cloudy amber.
-Spices are well leveled in the flavor profile.
-The flavor profile is bright and pleasant.
-The body is rather lean. This is not one of those sugar-y Christmas ales.
-The ingredient list doesn’t mention spices at all. Now THAT’s funny.

Bottle.

Etiquetada como ROSITA WOLL. Botella de 330ml. Copa Globo. Saboreada en feb´12. Color cobre claro anaranjado. Algo velada. Espuma marfileña y fugaz. Copos igualmente fugaces. Aromas florales y herbaceos, caramelos, especiado sutil, maltas caramelo y trazos de canela. Sabor azucarado y moderado malteado. Notas de miel y mermelada de naranja con toques de pimienta. Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media-alta. Piel de mandarina dulce en el final y suave astringencia. Agradable “calorcillo” en el retrogusto. Labeled ROSITA WOLL. 330ml bottle. Snifter glass. Enjoyed on feb´12. Orangish light copper & hazy appearance. Off-white, brief head. Spots are brief too. Herbal & floral aromas, candies, subtle spiced & caramel malts to the nose, cinnamon hints. Sugary, mildy malty flavor. Honey & orange jam hues, peppery touch. Light body, medium/high carbonation. Sweet tangerine zest finish, smooth astringency. Pleasant warming aftertaste.
