Dark red colour, disappearing head. Aroma has sweetish malt. Flavour is dryish with some harsh malt and has some alcohol. Rather typical aged barley wine.

Bottle shared by Doodler poured a cloudy dark brown with a lingering ring of tan bubbles. Aromas of prune, toffee, carmel, raisin, earthiness and light vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, carmel, plum, raisin and light vanilla with a smooth lingering toffee finish.

Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma has notes of malt, alcohol and brown sugar. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Brown sugar, some oxidation,dates, prunes, pitted fruits. Sweet nose. Night of the sweet beers? Jesus. Pours murky brown, no head, lace. Sugars up front and throughout, pitted fruits, earthy bitterness, oxidized notes soften and round out beer. No carbonation, peppery hops. Rich and chewy.

12oz bottle, thanks Tom! Pours a lightly murked chocolate brown with little signs of carbonation. Very rich in the nose. Tons of dark bread malt, prunes, brown sugar, light oxidation...tons of dark roasted grain wort. Brown sugar, tobacco, leather, light cardboard, golden raisins.

330. Thanks patrik! Pours cloudy dark amber with golden brown edges. No head lace or legs. Big toffee nose with oily orange peel notes. Lots of beautiful pastry and treacle. Sticky medium body. Minimal carb. Toffee, toast, caramel, butterscotch, and pithy citrus on the mid palate. Long tangy finish.

Bottled. A dark chest-nut brown beer with only a rim of dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of malt soup, as well as medium notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, nuts, and lots of malt, some of it roasted, leading to a dry roasted and alcoholic finish.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is Licorice, malt, hop. Flavour is licorice ,alt, hoop, fruit, caramel, alcohol. Full body. Very nice beer.

330 ml bottle. Murky brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fresh bread, hops and ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, dry fruit, hops and warming alcohol. Harmonic and nice.
