Maria (3963), Thisted, Denmark Aug 3, 2007 It’s a hazy, coppercolored beer with a rather big-bubbly head. The aroma has a nice note of aroma hops. The favour has a light caramel sweetness and notes of fruit/aroma hops and a spicy bitter and long finish. It’s initially OK, but as time went by it became boring. I guess I expected something more like the big American IPA’s, something in better balance and with more power on the hops... 1738 MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Jun 11, 2007 Bottle, 7% at KØ07. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. Sweet hoppiness in both aroma and flavour, as well as some anis?! saxo (2120), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark May 17, 2007 Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are mainly hops. It is still light at the same time and very refreshing. MPA (423), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark Mar 21, 2007 Bottle. Amber/orange with off white head. Aroma of alcohol, ammonia, caramel, hops and some herbs. Sweet, malty caramel flavour with hoppy bitterness going out. Has some positive elements to it but it still lacks quite a deal though to really score high with me. stouby (1444), Holbaek, Denmark Mar 18, 2007 Bottle at home.
Hazy dark orange with a white head, some lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, ginger) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, nor harmonic, more like medicine. Medium body, normal carbonated.
