24th June 2009 Cloudy dark chocolate coloured beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Rich sweet malt that has traces of ginger and sweet fruit. The alcohol is noticeable but not unpleasantly so, the aniseed provides counterbalance to the sweet malt. Warming afterglow. Tasty beer.
