Black of color with a nice brown head. An aroma of coffee, roasted malt, hints of liqurice - dry aroma, no sweets. A flavor with roasted malt, coffee and liqurice and maybe a weak sour hint.

Aug 4, 2008 Bottle. Very agressive when I opened the bottle table, seat and floor was flooded even thoug I tried to pour the beer into my glass and drink from the bottle. High creamy and lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Pleasant coffee hops aroma and flavor. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, burnt, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Bitternes is malt burnt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (160508)
