COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale lager beer made without the darker malts that we use in Roslyn Beer. It is hopped primarily with Yakima Hallertau hops, and may remind you of a beer you might find at a small gasthaus in Germany. It is especially popular with people who like full-bodied, lighter beers with mild hopping, and is named for the Brookside neighborhood of Roslyn.

Got this in Wenatchie, WA at Sticks. Pours hazy orange with a big white head and good lacing. Nose of light roasted malts, some floral hops, and tropical fruit. Medium body and very smooth and clean mouth feel. The flavor is rich for a pale lager, and the floral and grassy hops, mixed with the fruit flavors, and nice bitter finish make for an outstanding lager.

Just 2011. 22 oz. bottle. Golden yellow with a white head. Grass, malt, corn and fruity aromas. Little bit sweet and light on hops.

Transparent orange. Mild, slightly grassy hops, with a decent balance. Malt profile (oats, maybe some rye?) comes through a little more in the flavor. Quite mild, but with a good flavor. Nice.

22 oz. from chuck’s @ $4.59. This is an adjunt lager? Could have fooled me. It tastes great and the Hallertau give it a nice peppery flavor in contrast to what I would typically think of as an "adjunct lager". This is a damn fine beer.

Deep blond color; creamy head. This beer has some malt character and some dirty water too, both aroma and flavor; ordinary bitterness.
Easy Lager.

Bottle:   Golden, a little dull, slight haze, large frothy white head, light lacing, nice carbonation.   Very soft malty nose, a little straw/hay.   Smooth on the tongue, malty, very pale breadiness.   Has a nice body to it.   Smooth, very light in flavor tho.   Just some soft breadiness, straw, hay.   Tiz clean tho.   Funny that it has a nice body, but not tons of flavor.   Pretty respectable, and better than I was expecting.

bottle. sparkling hazed gold body with a thick, tall-building white head. mild dusty corn and cream nose with quiet aroma hops. highly effervescent carbonation. medium-light body but still has some rounded chewiness. bittering hops seem suspended over the chewy, almost syrupy malt. hallertau don’t seem very central.
