A pale lager beer made without the darker malts that we use in Roslyn Beer. It is hopped primarily with Yakima Hallertau hops, and may remind you of a beer you might find at a small gasthaus in Germany. It is especially popular with people who like full-bodied, lighter beers with mild hopping, and is named for the Brookside neighborhood of Roslyn.

bottle. sparkling hazed gold body with a thick, tall-building white head. mild dusty corn and cream nose with quiet aroma hops. highly effervescent carbonation. medium-light body but still has some rounded chewiness. bittering hops seem suspended over the chewy, almost syrupy malt. hallertau don’t seem very central.

Draft @ Taphouse Grill, Seattle, WA. Pours a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.

Golden bronze, well carbonated and a little foamy. A bit of the muted steam beer hop nose with some corn grits notes and a cream ale-esque quality. The body is a mild sweet grain and corn sweetness. Creamy with a somewhat earthy hop quality though it is well in the background.

22oz bottle, thanks to Jim. My bottle was a gusher. The beer was served in a footed pils glass that once belonged to my grandfather. Hazy golden color with a large rocky head. Sweet, bready malt and floral aroma. Full bodied would be an apt description, but the bitterness at the finish keeps it nicely balanced. Light, cracker-like malt and some pleasant floral hops in the flavor. Clean fermentation characteristics. A nice beer on a hot day. Simple and enjoyable, truly more than the sum of it’s parts.

Pours opaque orange with a foamy beige head that fades leaving spotty lacing and a small ring around the glass. Aroma of mild citrus, caramel and nut. Taste is full for a pale lager with grain, caramel, nut, mild hops. Body is more full also than a typical pale lager. Pretty good stuff.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy amber gold with an ok foamy white head. Mixed aromas of light fruit and spicey grass. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is floral/fruity/grassy over pale malt. Finishes nicely bitter. Damn tasty lager.

Pretty floral, slightly fruity aroma and flavor. Cloudy yellow. Not bad but nothing worth noting either. A bit too lagerish.

Pale straw color with a fluffy white head, diminishing head. Scents of mineral water and pale malt. Perhaps a bit if citrus in the background. Wow, who put beer in my mineral water. Lots of mineral water characteristics with a hint of malt taking second stage. Interesting quencher. Seems made for a hot summer day.

Received a 22-oz bomber via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear golden pale colored brew with a decent white head that even has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some citrus, grassy hops and a touch of lemon zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some citrus and grassy hops and a touch of pear. Finish is light, crisp, a little grassy hop character with a mild bitterness that slowly disappears.
