A pale lager beer made without the darker malts that we use in Roslyn Beer. It is hopped primarily with Yakima Hallertau hops, and may remind you of a beer you might find at a small gasthaus in Germany. It is especially popular with people who like full-bodied, lighter beers with mild hopping, and is named for the Brookside neighborhood of Roslyn.

Got this in Wenatchie, WA at Sticks. Pours hazy orange with a big white head and good lacing. Nose of light roasted malts, some floral hops, and tropical fruit. Medium body and very smooth and clean mouth feel. The flavor is rich for a pale lager, and the floral and grassy hops, mixed with the fruit flavors, and nice bitter finish make for an outstanding lager.

22 oz. from chuck’s @ $4.59. This is an adjunt lager? Could have fooled me. It tastes great and the Hallertau give it a nice peppery flavor in contrast to what I would typically think of as an "adjunct lager". This is a damn fine beer.

Clear dark golden color with a frothy white head. Nice sweet fruity marshmallow aromas. Frothy light body. Lightly sweet pale grainy malt, lagered flavors. Draft@ Roslyn BC

22oz bottle, thanks to Jim. My bottle was a gusher. The beer was served in a footed pils glass that once belonged to my grandfather. Hazy golden color with a large rocky head. Sweet, bready malt and floral aroma. Full bodied would be an apt description, but the bitterness at the finish keeps it nicely balanced. Light, cracker-like malt and some pleasant floral hops in the flavor. Clean fermentation characteristics. A nice beer on a hot day. Simple and enjoyable, truly more than the sum of it’s parts.

Transparent orange. Mild, slightly grassy hops, with a decent balance. Malt profile (oats, maybe some rye?) comes through a little more in the flavor. Quite mild, but with a good flavor. Nice.

Light maber body with a large frothy head. Lots of wheat and lemon in the nose which carried into the flavour as well. Some sweet malts and a touch of apple made this a rather unique and tasty lager.

Received a 22-oz bomber via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear golden pale colored brew with a decent white head that even has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some citrus, grassy hops and a touch of lemon zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some citrus and grassy hops and a touch of pear. Finish is light, crisp, a little grassy hop character with a mild bitterness that slowly disappears.

Pretty floral, slightly fruity aroma and flavor. Cloudy yellow. Not bad but nothing worth noting either. A bit too lagerish.

Pours opaque orange with a foamy beige head that fades leaving spotty lacing and a small ring around the glass. Aroma of mild citrus, caramel and nut. Taste is full for a pale lager with grain, caramel, nut, mild hops. Body is more full also than a typical pale lager. Pretty good stuff.
