Bottled. Poured still, clear bright golden. The aroma picked up tangy apples with accents of oak and warm rum.. clean with nice balance. The flavor found tangy apple skins and oak the whole way, with warm rum and dry, earthy yeast laced throughout.. finished fruity and warm. Light-medium bodied and still on the palate.. very, very dry.. this was solid stuff.

Bottle. Pours still with a clear golden hue. Moderate to low legs. Aromas show some nice acidity, low funky phenolics, light chlorophenolics, fruity, lemon zest, baked bread, bright apple, low rum and medium oak. Flavors are medium sweet, somewhat higher tannin levels, good acid balance, light wood, rum, some spicy phenols. Quite bright for a medium sweet and still cider. Medium to low body, still, zesty balanced acidity and tannin. Pretty solid!

Clear 500 ml bottle poured a clear golden yellow with no head (still). Aromas of apples, straw, rum and light vanilla. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of apple, straw, citrus and light rum with a smooth lingering lightly tart apple finish.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Still it is. Pale gold pour. Aroma of mixed apple skins with a distinct, faint rum note. Flavor is apple, apple skin and rum notes. Rum’s definitely present, but oak is questionable. It does seem a bit astringent. Fairly complex flavor combination. The finish is pretty dry.

Still golden yellow, with no head. Smells like rum and apples (surprise!) and alcohol. Flavor is a lot different than the aroma - apples, sure, but not nearly as much rum or oak. Some citric tartness. Light and crisp finish.

Bottle - bruisin ales - pours clear old gold with no head. Aroma is apples and wood. I’m not getting any of the rum. Taste is light and slightly sweet. Palate is delicate, but disappears on the finish.

Bottle. Golden and still. Aromas are sweet rum with light woodiness. Ripe earthy apple with some herbal notes and caramel. Flavours are sweet apple with rummy notes. Dry and woody on the finish.
