(bottle) pours a clear copper colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of caramel and dark fruit, slightly earthy, with a hint of roasted malts and light grass. flavour is bubble gum, toffee and liquorice, with notes of bread dough and light alcohol in the dry herbal-hoppy finish. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

I like Ratebeer for the whole system of beer rating but sometimes there should be also the rating catergory of "sound". When I poured this beer into my beautiful glas (from the 2nd Good Beer Festival in Wroclaw 2011) it already sounded thin and poor. also the appearence confrms this preassumption. no lacing, very small head. colour is rather dark brown teaish colour. Aroma is weak ; malt and alcohol. Taste is one-dimentional. the sweetness is syrupy and the aftertaste is a bit dry and disturbing. Palate is medium ok.

[9/22/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle on the ferry from Rostock to Sweden. Clear amber-brown color with a bit of unimpressive bubbly beige foam that disappears immediately. Aroma of malt, caramel, light toastiness and alcohol notes. Sweet caramelly flavor with a drier alcoholic finish. Medium-bodied with strong (too strong) carbonation. Nothing very wrong, just not too pleasant overall.

Sour and tangy fragrance with hints of roasted malt and a clear element of alcohol. Very light taste of roasted malt and brown sugar. Distinct alcohol in the finish. Simplistic and very alcoholic in taste, disgusting!
