Jul 18, 2007 Tap, in Rostock. Dark, with a thick tan head. Malty and a bit sweet smelling. Very sweet, with a sour finish. From the ads, this is the local beer.

Sep 25, 2002 Amber coloured with a medium head. Weak malt and yeast aroma. A quick burned caramel malty taste that lasts a second or so. A very slight bitterness in the aftertaste.

Jul 19, 2002 Fortunate enough to drink it on draft in Warnemunde (next town over from Rostock, where the beer is brewed). Deep amber with lasting head. Distinctly caramel aroma that is sweet, deep, and slightly roasty. Sweet flavor that boarders on port-y, but not quite. Yum!
