At a tasting, many thanks, clear and a touch deep golden colour, light dried fruits aroma with honey, flavour of honey and dark bread, light sweetness and sourness. Dull

Bottled as Marzen Export. Golden colour with a minimal no lasting white head. Aroma is very malty. Taste is malty with minimal herbs hop, sweet with a low bitterness finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad but nothing special.

Mild roasted cereals aroma. Sweet cereals, nuts, dry finish. Fairly boring overall, not up to German standards...

Clear yellow with white foam head. Aroma and taste is like most Oktoberfest beers, not outstanding. (Velp 201310) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not a bad beer...I am not usually a fan of Marzens but this one has a decent blend of hops and malt. Not too sweet or malty which is up my alley. Agree with others that it is somewhat thin and light but it does go down easily.

Pours deep gold with a white head. Aroma is of grain, toast. Taste is clean, slightly sweet, medium-light bodied with a nondescript finish.

Bottle. Golden, average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty - lightly grainy and sweetish aroma, light caramel and faint hoppynes. Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel with light bread. Finish is short to average, malty and sweetish, light caramel and faint hoppyness with faint alcohol. Thin-bodied sweetish märzen with caramel – that’s it.

The_Osprey (2253) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Cold bottle. Dark orange, no head. Slight caramel, lots of vegetable, lager. Far below par. Moral - don’t buy a beer just because the bottle looks interesting.

MichaelAwesome (4768) - Wanne-Eickel, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2013
Aromas of vanilla with some caramel. Ends a bit too sharp and less of quafness. Drinkable one with a some malt and pepper. Not a rocket but a decent one.

Bottle as "Märzen Export". Clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose malt. Taste of ripe grains, mild hops, clover, flowers and white bread. Very dry finish. Not really quaffable, rather quite difficult to drink, but not that bad in the end.
