3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Yeasty malt aroma with clove and banana undertones. Cloudy tannish yellow color wtih large lasting head. Pretty sweet malt flavor but not a great deal of character - slight banana but that’s it. A bit on the watery side as well. Pleasant but not great.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2009 Bready nose with a hint solvent note.
Nice orange coloring with a fluffy lacing head.
Less than exiting flavor profile: a bit banana, a bit bread some metallic notes, but all pretty thin and one-dimensional.
Lightish body, fizzy mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2005 Skunky aroma, decent taste. Looks better than it is; lacks character. Maybe I shouldn’t have drunk this with a sore throat, but there it is.
Update 20051013: On tap in Freiburg: Much better than I remembered it. Rating adjusted accordingly.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Mild wheat aroma, but also pronounced skunky sulfury smell. Cloudy medium amber with foamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-light carbonation. Starts with light malt, mild banana esters, and stale papery hops. Finish is mild sweet banana and lightly astringent. After is grainy and mild.

Bottle in Germany. Poured a medium sized white head, soft carbonation, cloudy, fair lacing, and a pale yellow hue. Aroma consisted of malt, banana, spices, and clove. Typical of a German Hefe. Sweet, malt, banana, and spicy in the flavor. Smooth palate.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 92. This bottled brew poured a small head of finely sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was cloudy and dark yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of yeast banana and malt. Its mouth feel is tingly and smooth. Its flavor contained banana malt and hop notes. A very average brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Birmingham Beer Festival. Wonderful looking Hefe - towering, rocky head and dark orange colouring, with big chunks of sediments gradually floating down after pouring. Tastes orangey (but not too orangey for crows). Enjoyable, uplifting, sweet and easy going.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Yeasty, citric flavour. Some alcohol and sharp coriander. I dislike this brew. Too yeasty and cloudy.
