Huge white head. Cloudy, sparkling, genuinely orange colour. Wheaty aroma with banana notes. Fruity taste and a strangely bitter palate.

12-DEC-2012, bottle @home, from KaDeWe, present from Anton. Almost clear golden/orange with off-white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma with spices and an almost brett’y note. Overripe fruits, banana, peach, clove. Sweet, oily, thin finish. No bitterness. Fine and tasty weisse. Thx Anton:-)

Aúú! Egy jó búza! Szép sötétsárga felpezseg a fehér sűrű hab. Illata édes nem támadóan szúrós, mint sok(k)szor a búzák. Élénk, lágy testel meglepően komlós és keserű. A pilsük után kétkedve vettem le a polcról de megérte mert egy remek weizen ez. Zum voll!

Purchased at the Kaufland supermarket in Eppingen, DE; enjoyed after a meal finished with grappa. I’m really liking the design of this label, looks very old world/retro. Appearance is a cloudy/hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is strong in banana and clove, nice fruity esthers, definite sweetness. Taste is pretty good, a little sweeter than the other German weiss beers I’ve had on my trip, pretty good in flavor.

500 ml bottle. 1017102. BB 26/10/12. (Roybeer) Milan, Italy.
Hazy golden colour with big fluffy white head. Yeast, mild bitterness, wheat and mild sourness in aroma. Yeast, wheat, mild bitterness and grain in flavour. No fruitiness nor sweetness in flavour. Not the freshest one but it was BB date when I enjoyed this.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2012 Cloudy mandarin/orange color with big creamy head! Sweet and citron smell with some attick in the background. Taste is bitter, sweet, a bit different and worth a try. I am still in doubt if I like it or not. Update. Tasting various beers with friends. Summary for this bottle: Nice orange/yellow cloudy beer with nice collar. Smell is spicy. Taste has a good balance in sweet and bitter with a lot of herbs.

50 cl. bottle obtained in a trade with drunkenaim I think // thx. // @ home // mushy apricot coloured with a creamy white head // smell is pure banana bubblegum, lots of banana with some soft wheat, light spice and touch floral // taste is oodles of creamy banana, it is milkshake like, thick yeast and some creamy wheat, touch bitter floral, white pepper and spice in the back // full creamy wheat body // it is like a hefe-milkshake, this is great and just what I was looking for

.33cL bottle, strange for a hefeweizen. Orange in color, steady heady pour, hazy of course. Strong aroma, good. Pleasant all-around flavor, competent and comfortable in its own skin. Soft and sort of fruity.
