Yellow/golden and clear with a medium stable head. A bit malty, perfect bitterness for a german pilsener. A bit of grass, flowers, herbs. Medium bodied, average carbonization.

In bocca rinfrescante. Finale secco

Kosmokrator (47) - Legnano, ITALY - MAY 12, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 In bottiglia.

Clear golden colour with medium head. Aroma is malt, grassy hops. Flavour malty, with grassy bitter hoppy finish.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2012 Drink it almost on a daily basis as it’s brewed just behind the corner from where I live. A very good pils! Aroma is hay, grass and spruce. Appearance is pale, quite clear and slightly sparkling, with a white head. Taste isn’t too bitter, can even detect some honey notes. Definitely feels like the Schwarzwald!

Pint, poured into a huge, tall Rothaus handled glass at The Cask Pub and Kitchen, London in Oct 2011. This is one of the best Pilsners on the market (also known as Tannenzäpfle when in small bottles), crisp, sharp and refreshing it really does hit the spot if you are wanting something to brighten up your drinking day. Not sure what sets it apart from other German Pilsners, I’ve had enough over the years: it’s just the whole package I suppose, nothing spectacular or really different about it, it’s just right on all counts when talking about this style of beer. The head does stay longer than most of its competitors, but other than that I can’t put my finger on why it should be put on a pedestal above the rest

IlBevitorediLA (206) - ITALY - MAR 24, 2012

33cl bottle via a friend. Decent white head. Pale golden pour. Nice enough pils. Slight bitter aftertaste
