Malty, grassy and herbal nose. Rather sweet and hoppy taste. Tart. Very clean with a dry bitter finish which is lingering and slightly unplesant. Rerate: (additional comment): Sweet, boring. Very pale yellow color, small white head. Malty aroma with corn-like and papery hints. Papery, harsh flavor, not much hops found. This one goes to "cheap German supermarket lagers" -class. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Very pallid, yellow body under an unimpressive white head. Aroma finds light florals atop an herbal-hopped base. Smooth and bitter, it turns out to be very quaffable. Light crispness and mild peppers in the finish. Possibly better than I gave it credit for, but my numbers stand.
