3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A pale and lively brew with soft, thick bready aromas. It has a tickly flour flavour that comes across as yeasty and wholesome. Thick and sweet in the mouth. Very, very tasty.

Clear yellow beer with a medium delicious white head. Bready malt, caramel in the moderated aroma with some freaky roasted nut or almond, a light floral hop perfume. Light&fine mouthfeel, caramel and light sweet malt with a hint of the freaky roasted nut flavor again. Light hop finish.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is a fantastic beer with it’s rich bitter flavour underlined by slight sweetness. The finish is a lot smoother and fuller than other German (bitter) beer.
’’badbeer’’ did such a good job in describing it, that I cannot think of anything else.
I live in Australia - I would kill to get this beer here! In my opinion the best pils I have ever tasted!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Cristal clear golden color with a white head that sits atop and retains very well, leaving spots of lacing as the beer is consumed. Some bread, biscuits, light honey, grain husk, and a nice herbal hoppy presence in the aroma. Soft hay and grains greet the tongue, followed by a touch of honeybread and earthy hops right along side it; finish is a bit on the hoppy side. Clean, crisp, but still full of flavor; both malt and hops are strong, but neither is dominant. Medium carbonation and medium body, but the dry finish helps it from being cloying. Review average seems incredbly low to me, this is such an awesome Pils.

[Bottle from Bonn.] A good brew which is over average for what I normally get from Germany.
