My first review from south of the equator. Thanks Lisa for bringing this all the way from Germany to Tarapoto, Peru! Pours with a billowy white head. Pale and crystal clear. Smell is dominated by bready, sweet malt and noble hops. Taste is hop-forward, with a spicy note followed by sweetish pale malt. Finish is actually pretty sweet, compared to some other German pils like Jever which finish with a firm bitterness. Mouthfeel is spot-on - light, spritzy, and dry. On a hot night in the Amazon, this went down fast, too fast. I wish I had a case.

Bottled, 0,33l. Bright golden colour with moderate white head and lively carbonation. Herbal and grassy hops’ aroma with notes of corn. Malty sweetness prevails in the start, then followed with crispy taste and finished with dry bitterness. Medium bodied, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. One of the best pilsners I have ever tried...

330ml bottle poured a pale golden color with a finger of white head and some thin lacing. Aroma of grain with some skunkiness and mild hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a hint of caramel and a moderate hoppy bitterness in the finish. A decent German pilsner about average for this style of beer.

Bottle at home. Clear light golden pour, thin creamy white head. Aroma of grains, German hops and simple light malts. Flavor is slightly bitter, a bit watery, but very clean. Reinheit all the way. Decent for a German Pilsener.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2012 Pale golden beer with white head. The nose is grassy, herbal with grainy sweet malts and hints of light caramel. The mouth is medium sweetness and a slight bitterness. The consistency is watery and the carbonation is slightly fizzy. Dry finish with a green hopbie. OK, but the label is more original than the beer. A default German pilsner.
