3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (Utobeer): Yellow pale clear, with a medium, though lasting head. Aroma is dominated by sulphuric eggy farts. Flavour is simple sweet malts, with a long dry hoppy grassy almost herbal finish. Very refreshing and clean pils, with a good flavour!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale gold colour with real metallic, near green shine; fluffy, snowwhite head, collapsing. Quite sulphury nose, volatile, then more "herb", indeed a bit like young fir tree branches; pale malts underneath. Sulphur in the taste too! Strange hops on more conventional pale malts, with a dryish sweetness. It’s well hopped, but I would dare to venture with less-than-noble German hops; low on alpha acids, not very bittter, but - sulphury. Palate is undoubtedly its best feature: dry to bone-dry, and yet refreshing. Obviously, this is either your Pilsner wet dream, or it leaves you totally - frigid? I’m amongst the latter, I’m afraid. Another one in a long list I have to thank "DerDoppelbock" for.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very ligd colden color, full hops an herps aroma with a nice bitter, charactar pilsener, little argu about the "hopextract" but lots of brewery use it thise days and its a natural ingr. ,..label shows a simple frauwlein mit 2 mal bier, and it shows the a bit of the forrest of hochschwarzwald

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bought in the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) capital Freiburg, there could be no nicer way to enjoy the mountains’ fresh spring water. Opening the bottle by crunching off the golden aluminium foil is like crunching Black Forest fir crones - no wonder they gave the pils that name. The hops-aromatic flavour persists for the whole evening, while the taste is just superb and easily makes this pils one of the best German ever. Besides the herb-like aroma, the taste is distinctly "stuffed", a bit oily, a bit malty. I would call it rather "a lager that actually tastes of something" than a bitter, which it isn’t really. Highly recommended!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
[bottle at Barfuß in Marburg]
Unfortunately, the Scottish fellow that introduced me to this beer insisted that I drink it from the bottle. Therefore, check out the appearance from other people. I was able to get a good enough whiff off the bottleneck to say that this beer smells like a crisp, hoppy pils. Hoppier than the usual. The flavour speaks the same: prominent and crips hops, well blended with a medium malt flavour. The bitterness is really nicely rounded and does not come off at all harsh. Really crisp. Light to medium body with medium carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma with grassy hop notes. Pale golden color, big white head. Light malty and honey sweetness, crispy, grassy hop flavor. Refreshing, dry bitterness but sweetness lingers. Very bitter, dry end. A refreshing, well hopped pils.
