Lys/bleg gylden, lille hvidt skum. Perlende carb. Aroma af sødlig, lys malt, græs. Igen malt og især sødme i smagen, peber, boblende carb. Lav bitterhed, uharmonisk.

02.02.2014. 0,33 l Bottle at an Busshed in Berlin. Pale yellow colour with white head. At first its kind of grassy, gets softer. Malty notes, but a little thin maybe. Soft bitterness at the end gives a very fresh pilsner!

Fuzzy and soapy with not much going on. Was expecting a bit more. Pretty dullish.

Germany Bottle 198 yen from Kaldi Coffee. 5.1% Drunk on the train to Kinosaki. It pours an incredibly pale gold that reminds me of a light cider. The aroma is grassy, hay with a touch of zest. The body is light but somewhat oily. The taste is grainy, a bit rough & has a slight sweetness somewhat like a kind of chemical sweetener used in candies. Looking at the German label reveals it is made with hop extract & hops. The first taste is that of a decent pils but then it falls apart. The coolest thing about this beer is the funky old school label.

Bottle from Kaldi Coffee at AEON Dainichi Mall in Moriguchi. Grainy nose, some grass and very light hopping. Light straw color, small head. Gentle, sweet initial / mid has tiny bitterring / clean dry finish. Thin-medium body, soft carbonation. Pretty good, light pils character, smooth and dry.

Bottle from Rewe Frankfurt drunk on the train to Bamberg. Can’t believe I have never had this before. I am sure I have seen this in the UK mind you it will be fresher and cheaper here. Gold clear lasting white head. It’s an ok German pils some decent lemon noble hop bite on the finish. It’s got a bit more noble ho pthan the other bottled beer I have had today. That lovely perfumed essence on the finish. Altogether a classier beef with better ingredients. I liked it. I mean actively liked it. Good.
