Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JAN 22, 2011
Niiiice fresh pils, BB 03/29/2011, bottle from Wine of Dreams in Warsaw. Bright yellow/gold, sustained head, pretty dense. Aroma of bread, hay, hop spice (pepper, herbs, flowers, pencil shavings). Flavor is quite spicy (pepper), with a pillowy softness of malt (sourdough bread) - a little one dimensional though. Snappy!! So wickedly easy to drink. Slightly oily body. Beers like this are just rated so low, but they are a core kind of beer, with some flavors which cannot be found elsewhere.

Pale yellow color, the foam is soapy and large-pored, the beer has almost no CO2. It smells hoppy sweet, subtly spicy. The beginning part is hoppy-bitter, very pleasurable! The tartness is made just right, not too exaggerated, but nevertheless with strong presence. The aftertaste also shows good aroma hops, again with a reasonable degree of bitterness! The further course is very nice hoppy-bitter, very refreshing! Successful Pils!

500 ml bottle at the Frankfurt Airport Germany. Pours a med blonde color with a soft white head. Soft herbal aroma. Taste is malty for a Pils. Palate ends with a sweet bitterness. I liked this one not sure completely why but it was good.

500 ml bottle: poured clear yellow with a big white head. Mild hop aroma and hints of grape. Flavor is the same. Light grape with a light mix of hops and malt. I thought this was a nice pilsener.

Bottled. Clear pale golden colour. Medium, bubbly head with a frothy top. Grassy hop aroma. Sligfhtly fruity, medium dry, hoppy taste. Mediocre pilsner with a decent hoppy finish.

Flasche aus einem tegut-Markt in Kassel (in dessen Sortiment es wohl zusammen mit den Erzeugnissen der Neumarkter Lammsbräu den gesundheitsbewußten Großstädter ansprechen soll). - Strohgelb, blank. - Leicht zitronige Nase. - Milder Antrunk mit leicht zitrusfruchtigem, leicht herb-grasigem Hopfen. Schwache Malzsüße. Durchschnittlich rezent, leicht wäßrig. Mäßig hopfenherber Abgang, durchschnittlich bitterer aber etwas leerer Nachtrunk. - Eher blasses Pils ohne besondere Aromawerte.

500 ml. bottle. Clear golden yello colour, with almost no head at all. Smell of grains and lemon. Oily palate, light body. Taste is salty, with lemon, grains, bitter aftertaste. Not complex at all, but it’s better in the tongue than one can expect after the visual and smell part. Yes, you can drink some of these, but it’s rather boring.

Bottle - golden beer with a quickly diminishing white head, soft carbonation. Hoppy and little bit grainy aroma. Moderate hops flavour, bitter in the end.

Not a bad little Pils this, some soft malt, a little honey briskness quickening the palate. Pale, some grassy hop notes for me, but still more malt. Nice, could drink another
