500 ml. bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour, which turns into a rather dirty water colour when the foam fades, that is, in the blinking of an eye. But then it turns into a smell of spices, banana, clove, the usual for the style with a wet earth addendum. Medium body, good carbonation and taste of lemon, clove, coriander. Easily the best of the brand I’ve tasted, although is just the usual thing for a weizen.

pivnizub (8576) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 8, 2010
Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, medium-sized - almost bleached - loose white foam; distinctive fruity (green bananas) and clovey nose with a yeasty background; light to moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied; a lemony fruitiness shows up in the wheaty-clovey finish. Yawn......

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 6, 2010
(bottle) Hazy, greenish pale golden colour with a big and blond frothy head. Sweet and yeasty, distinctively wheat-malty aroma with notes of unripe banana and shades of cloves. Mildly sour and minimal sweet flavour, slim bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty taste with a present wheat-character and notes of citrus and banana; moderately dry and sourish wheaty finish with notes of citrus and a tinge of cloves. Not bad for a low carb Weizen. 06.I.10

Bottle. Hazy yellow, big head. Fairly spicy aroma, cloves in particular, some dust. Light body, spices - clove, vanilla, allspice. Sparkly mouthfeel. Good light beer, doesnt entirely come together for my taste though.

Bottle. Banana and sour wheat malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow color with moderate head. Dry, sour wheat malt flavor with a hint of banana. Iron aftertaste. Bland with very little weizen characteristics - decent low alcohol beer though.

Light yellow colored with vanishing white head. Rubbery aroma with thin banana, still not very good one with some disgusting tone. Thin to medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is better with banana dominating, still drying touch here.

Bottled (BB 08/2009). "Thanks" Timo A.. Very pale yellow color, small white head. Very rubbery, wheaty aroma. Crisp, lemony orange peels - very very watery. Probably ok beer when not watered down.
