Bottle, 5.3%. Good spicy, clovey aroma, hint of tea. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is sweetish with some of the same characteristics as the aroma. Tiny hint of plasticky phenols in the finish, but no more than in many other wheat beer. Slightly low carbonation for style, but sufficient.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2011 500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Like the Pils a blast of fruitiness and a citrus finish. Aroma is full of Bananas but as stated by others no banana tasse with this beer. Not a bad Weizen. And very different. One of the new Bio beers.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes yeasty, fruity, not too much like banana, more like apple. Very drinkable and good hefeweizen!

(bottle) Cloudy yellow colour with a big fluffy foamy white head. Sweet yeasty and wheat-malty aroma with light notes of banana and herbal hops. Sweet, later slightly sour flavour, medium to light body, quite smooth carbonation for a Weizen, thus it has almost a creamy mouthfeel. Wheaty and yeasty taste with a moderate fruity note on a shy hoppy background; lasting, slightly tart and yeasty finish with a well-balanced clovy spice. Rounded and tasty Weizen.

500ml bottle: poured a cloudy yellow orange with a big white fluffy head. Aroma is moderate banana at first but once you make it through the head, there are hop notes poking through. Taste is mild banana and hops and a slight touch of chlorine. But not bad.

Got this one in Wittenburg at hotel restaurant. Poured a fuzzy yellow with big, long-lasting white head. Nose of fruti, mostly banana. Some other scents are there as well. Smells amost like hops. Some sweetness and decent palate. Overall a quite decent hefeweizen.
