(bottle) Cloudy yellow colour with a big fluffy foamy white head. Sweet yeasty and wheat-malty aroma with light notes of banana and herbal hops. Sweet, later slightly sour flavour, medium to light body, quite smooth carbonation for a Weizen, thus it has almost a creamy mouthfeel. Wheaty and yeasty taste with a moderate fruity note on a shy hoppy background; lasting, slightly tart and yeasty finish with a well-balanced clovy spice. Rounded and tasty Weizen.

500ml bottle: poured a cloudy yellow orange with a big white fluffy head. Aroma is moderate banana at first but once you make it through the head, there are hop notes poking through. Taste is mild banana and hops and a slight touch of chlorine. But not bad.

Got this one in Wittenburg at hotel restaurant. Poured a fuzzy yellow with big, long-lasting white head. Nose of fruti, mostly banana. Some other scents are there as well. Smells amost like hops. Some sweetness and decent palate. Overall a quite decent hefeweizen.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Hazy, orangey coloured, big, almost creamy off-white head; fruity nose - as expected - : bananas, cloves, a touch of lemons and an illusion of hops (!); not too sweet( fruity) flavour with a light acidity, medium to light bodied; sweetish fruity (cloves again), a bit sourish and a bit tart finish. A fine, well rounded and refreshing Weizen.....

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy gold, large rocky head. An explosion of fruitiness and a lovely citrus finish - with the proper hefe yeast rounding it off. Maybe the best hefe I have ever tasted.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, deep orangey, hazy golden with a tall, frothy head and a heavy carbonation. Fruit, estery nose. Loads of fruity flavours too, your typical banana esters atop an underlying tartness. Rather delicious. Organic. 220103

Very decent example of a weissen. Nice banana clove scent with a bit of a lemony taste. Smooth and refreshing and bio as a plus.
