Grassy aroma with hints of toffee. Light bodied with nice malt character. Fruity and chocolatey. Aroma is spices, rotten apple, slight nuts and fruity hops. Flavour is rotten apples, spices and some wooden and fruity hints. fonefan (5547), Ulfborg, Denmark Sep 7, 2007 Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruit, moderate hoppy. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 18, 2007 Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Amber, lasting off white head. Distinctive hop aroma. Green apple though, so perhaps a little young, will be better on the next day or two.
