COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brutal hops is a cruel battle where the hops are the winners. Eucaliptus resin and cannabis in the nose with a brutal bitterness. With 100% german malts and a mix of english hops.

I am writing this after having tasted this beer many times. Dark brown, with a very creamy head that goes fast though, thatís fine. On the nose hops dominate all you can imagine. This undoubtedly has to do with cannabis, maybe some eucalyptus, and a little lemon. Nevertheless, I can see the barley and cereals. This is wonderful. Finally a good beer that does not have that sticky sweetness of microbrews. I repeat, a great Chilean.

Bottle from Cerveceria Imporio, Santiago. Copper brown with a yellowish head. Caramel, smoked malts, piney hop nose. In the mouth quite astringently bitter, despite hints of smoked caramel. Not a favourite.

Dark, kind of brownish molasses color... Its supposed to be a "pale" ale. Smells of star anise, pineapple, mango... Sort of a little bit of sweetness on the palate and the earthy bitterness, that balanced its sweetness. Not a IPA fan, but this is very enjoyable

IPA??? para nada, tiene demasiado sabor a maltas, claramente desbalanceada, el lķpulo no tiene un agradable aroma y se mezcla de mala manera con el aroma de las maltas. no tomarŪa otra.

Pours deep molasses with a persistent off white head. Aroma is deep and complex, pine, hops, hops, hops, eucalyptus and grass. Long lasting finish, bitter but smooth, delicious. Fairly thin but very lively and well carbonated. Good I.P.A. with strong character.

(350cc bottle, BB August 04, 2013) Pours a hazy burnt orange body with a medium cream head. Aroma of grapefruit, grass, orange, caramel, pine, and pineapple. Flavor of grapefruit, pineapple, caramel, and cereal.

On bottle from Unimarc, Santiago. Dark golden color, lots of foam- intense carbonation. Very distinct hop aromas ( pine), and intens eucalyptus, some tropical fruit aromas. Medium body & medium/ high complexity. Intense bitterness, not totally balanced in thar regard ( as intended by brewer) Very enjoyable

Poured from a 330 mL bottle; at first with a clear but deep amber color and a long-lasting generous white head. After adding the lees in, the beer turned cloudy. This beer is entirely dominated by the hops; the resin-like aroma from them was clear at first but it faded after a while. On drinking it, itís a heavily bitter beer. Again, the hops dominate its flavor and with quite a long-lasting finish. Despite itís brutal bitterness, the beer has a really soft texture and goes rather easily on the palate. Overall, itís a great IPA. Iím not usually much of a fan of the style but this one was very good and Iím sure IPA lovers will really like it.

I donít know if Iím overrating this because itís so rare to find a good IPA in Chile. Pours a dark copper, brownish color with a tan creamy head that lasts and leaves a fine film. In the nose, the hops prevail with aromas of cannabis, eucaliptus, lime and lemongrass. It is possible though to discern some cereal in the back. The flavor on the other hand is very bitter and probably the 100 IBUís that the brewmaster told me are spot on. No trace of sweetness whatsoever. But I like it a lot and itís refreshing in the sea of overly sweet ales of chilean craft beer.
