Odd vanilla and hop aroma. Clear copper with a massive four-finger foam. Carbonation completely dominates the taste. All I can taste is carbonation and vanilla. Overall, Absolutely terrible. If you want to taste carbonation at its fullest, buy this.

pours pale yellow with a decent sized white frothy head. aroma is muted and pale: mostly tangerine and light malt with a tidbit of pine resin. flavor mimics the aroma, and is just as blah. just an overall mills interpretation that doesn’t really have any punch. I don’t know if I’d even classify this as a strong pale ale. it’s a good beer, but not a good ipa.

Crisp copper coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, pale malt, a hint of metal and some lighter hops - not too much though. Medium-bodied; Assertive resin and pine flavour with a malt and nutty, earthy undertone and a little bit of hop bitterness at the end. Aftertaste shows a good balance of hops and malt with a refreshing grapefruity finish, but not horribly strong. Overall, a decent IPA, but very nice to try! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Texas Liqour in Carlsbad, California on 19-March-2013 for US$5.99 sampled in the evening after returning from Southern California on 03-May-2013.

Just nothing about this one stood out. 10 karat golden pour with a moderate ivory crown. Orange peel, lemon zest, caramel, and evergreen...not one item standing out amongst the rest. Medium mouthfeel with the slightly higher ABV indistinguishable. Meh.

Bomber from local Sprouts. Pours a very pale yellow hue... barely pale ale color, much less IPA. Little white foam, fizzy rather than fluffy and lacy. Aromas are slight of malt and very slight of rather boring hop aromas. Taste is something better... very mild. Middling early malt sweetness well balanced by middling hop bitterness. Everything about this beer is "yay! mediocrity" Maybe they were going for their baseline flagship beer... not sure "hurray! averageness!!" is what you want from your flagship, but... Finish is a touch more bitter, which earns a big "whee!" from me... very drinkable.. maybe too much so?

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy finish.

Clear amber color with lasting off white tinted foam. Nice floral, tropical fruit, honey biscuit aromas. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice grainy pale malt, honey biscuit base brew with floral, fruity hoppage--lightly bitter finish---more like APA than IPA----good tho.

On tap at Herringbone in La Jolla. Served in a pint glass, very cold. Medium yellow color with a small white head. Nose is pineapple, grass. Taste is wood and citrus, and some malt. Has a little sweetness in there as well. Decent.

(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of orange, caramel, tangerine, and grass. Flavor of grass, caramel, citrus, pine, and earth with a dry, bitter finish.

My choice of favorite from the ample taster tray. Bright aroma of hops hits the nose. Nice balance of bitterness. Pours a lovely orange color.
