Good to be the 10th rater. Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. (Fred’s the man for beer!) Pours a light amber gold with a four finger creamy/bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma is a cross between orange zest and cat pee. Execellent beginning. Med body. Flavor is lots of (to me) citrusy hop over a decently roasty caramel. Bitter assaults the tongue, yet there is a certain lurking sweetness. It’s not a NW mouth burner, but it is a seriously smooth and hoppy ale. Finishes nicely bitter. Seems to be more resin in the finish than citrus. Almost earthy.

Pale golden pour with a white head. Lots of floral and citric hop notes up front, a bit of grass, and some cracker malt. Intensely dry. Light diacetyl aroma on the finish. The flavor is quite dry and moderately bitter. Very heavy on the grass, lots of straw, and some citrus peel. Fairly bland. There’s a light butter note, some hints of bread sweetness, and maybe a touch of pine.

On tap at the brewery in late June. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are slightly low on the hops, but what is there is herbaceous, tangerine, citrus. Low caramel malt, medium esters. Flavors are dry and surprisingly boozy for the stated ABV, tangerine, citrus zest, hoppy, low malt. Lively bubbles with a dry finish.

22oz bomber pours totally opaque pale copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is a mix of lemon, pine, caramel and breadiness. The taste delivers grapefruit to pine bitterness and then running headlong into sweet caramel malts and some buttery bread. This is an odd tasting IPA. I’m not sure if this is the intent or I grabbed a bad bottle. If you want hop bitterness this has it but the hops just seem bitter and resiny and go poorly with the caramel and breadiness.

Clear amber color with lasting off white tinted foam. Nice floral, tropical fruit, honey biscuit aromas. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice grainy pale malt, honey biscuit base brew with floral, fruity hoppage--lightly bitter finish---more like APA than IPA----good tho.
