A bold and tasty reminder to always forget the bad and savor the good things in life. Nose of orange. Moderate body, light malt flavor with lingering hop resin. Substantial yet refreshing.

Pours a nice slightly hazy medium yellow wihta soapy white head. Aroma is spicy, juicy and sweet with a slight pineapple scent. Very dry bitterness hits first with a woody, vegetal taste. This is immediately followed by a juicy, citrus pith bitterness that rounds out the taste. There’s a candied sweetness that balances out all the bitterness very well. Surprisingly, there’s also a very evident toasted malt flavor that isn’t present in a lot of IPAs which is really nice. Finishes very dry with waves of hoppy bitterness as well as a lingering honeyed sweetness. Excellent West Coast IPA.

On tap at Rough Draft (two pints) and from a few big bottles on later days. I *really* like this everyday drinkable IPA. It has that orange zest/tangerine pine resin with pretty crisp carbonation all wrapped into a medium bodied (but barely any malt) combination. Not sure about other reviewers’ opinions, but I really think this makes an excellent base IPA from them. I can’t wait until it gets to Texas someday. In the meantime, I’ll be visiting again and Rough Draft will be first on my list, and a pint of this my go-to IPA.

I like it. Textbook IPA. Golden amber. Nice lasting head. Hoppy nose. Solid Malt base. A hint of alcohol. Tasty hops, strong but restrained enough to quaff.

Draft. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruti and caramel flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and caramel linger with light pine and light darker malts.

650ml bottle from bev4less. Pours a translucent brass color with a medium white head that soon recedes to a film. The aroma features ripe citrus, mostly oranges and tangerines, and a bit of bubble gum. The taste is unlike the nose, the oranges never really materialize, instead I get a neutral bitterness with limes, a bit of grapefruit, resins and bread. The palates is full and silky with lively carbonation. The finish is dry and medium in duration. Overall: Interesting take on the old IPA, and at $4 a bomber its a good value. I will have to try more from this brewery--seems promising.

Good to be the 10th rater. Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. (Fred’s the man for beer!) Pours a light amber gold with a four finger creamy/bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma is a cross between orange zest and cat pee. Execellent beginning. Med body. Flavor is lots of (to me) citrusy hop over a decently roasty caramel. Bitter assaults the tongue, yet there is a certain lurking sweetness. It’s not a NW mouth burner, but it is a seriously smooth and hoppy ale. Finishes nicely bitter. Seems to be more resin in the finish than citrus. Almost earthy.

On tap at Herringbone in La Jolla. Served in a pint glass, very cold. Medium yellow color with a small white head. Nose is pineapple, grass. Taste is wood and citrus, and some malt. Has a little sweetness in there as well. Decent.

Clear amber color with lasting off white tinted foam. Nice floral, tropical fruit, honey biscuit aromas. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice grainy pale malt, honey biscuit base brew with floral, fruity hoppage--lightly bitter finish---more like APA than IPA----good tho.
