Faint aroma of vanilla and cream. Moderate copper/crimson color. Creamy flavors of hops, vanilla, alcohol and caramel. Nothing much else to it. Overall, a decent ale.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Reddish orange, hazy, medium off white head. Sticky toffee, marmalade, pine. Full bodied, a bit chewy, sweet and hoppy. Maybe it was my mood, but I drank the shit out of this! Delicious.

First sip is a strong hoppy malty alcohol beer. Every sip after becomes an ambrosia mix of theses same ingredients. Maybe the alcohol warmth but it keeps getting better. Last sip is extremely delicious.

650ml bomber bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that retains well and leaves some spotted lacing behind. Aroma is light fruits with caramel and light toasted notes. Taste is a light toasted and pine bitterness with a caramel and fruity sweetness finishing with some alcohol on the tongue. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A nicely done strong ale which is definitely worth trying a few times. Tasty stuff.

This beer is a great winter warmer! Pours a translucent, deep amber color with a sturdy and thick khaki cap. Aromas of sweet caramel and toffee with a touch of pine. Bold flavors that follow the nose with a roast accent at the end. Definitely check this one out!

Amber with a short off white head. Aroma is booze, caramel, spices. Taste is hot alcohol, toffee, dough, lots of malt. Certainly not bad, but not overly intriguing either

A little lighter in body than some, but with a nice sturdy malt backbone and ample hopping and bitterness. Fairly basic as the BA version was, but balanced and tasty."

Bottled, 22oz. Appearance is gorgeous, deep copper color with a fat rocky head. Fine lacing left behind in the glass. Aroma of caramel, wheat toast and brown sugar. Flavor is malt forward with medium sweetness. Notes of clove and sautéed raisins persist through the prolonged bitterness. A tad more balance and this would be killer. Really tasty! Hats off to a Rough Draft for coming up strong in the SD beer scene in the recent years.

Keg at Rough Draft tasting room, 18/04/14. Clear dark orange/amber with a moderate light beige swirl atop the glass. Nose is light booze, nutty pangs, caramel, candied orange. Taste comprises toffee, candied fruit rinds, light spice, booze, fruit loaf. Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, lightly drying shutdown. Ok strong.
