Faint aroma of vanilla and cream. Moderate copper/crimson color. Creamy flavors of hops, vanilla, alcohol and caramel. Nothing much else to it. Overall, a decent ale.

Bomber. Pours a copper orange with a beige head and aroma of strong hops and pine. Taste is bitter up front, lots of good with more bitterness, pine, caramel and resin leading to dry, bitter, warming finish.

With Z, pours a reddish orange color with a Java head. Nose is sweet caramel, malt and toffee. Taste is bitter and very hoppy, surprisingly so for an ASA, along with a mouthful of alcohol. Ends on the hoppy and bitter notes with a moderately long finish. Quaff Score 7 / 10

On draft at the brewery. Copper color, with an off white head. Sweet, boozy, caramel, and raisin. I’m not a huge fan.

July 10th, 2013 - Rough Draft’s Freudian Sip Strong Ale is a deep, auburn color. It’s clear and transparent, save for the waves made by condensation on the glass, and the low halo of foam circling the inside edge of the glass. The aroma and flavor match nicely: a mild maltiness, a heavy booziness, and the flavor of honey covered peanuts. It’s a slow, drinkable beer that needs short sips, but each sip is its own reward.

Bottle pour. Cloudy copper amber with a large creamy tan head. Aroma is strong alcohol, toffee, and caramel. Creamy medium body. Toffee, coffee, and light alcohol taste. Small bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looked great. Aroma was intriguing. Flavour a little disappointing. Surprisingly bitter, but decently balanced. I found it a better beer for tastings & pairings than a straight drinking beer.

Draft at the brewery. Pours ear copper with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like booze, cough syrup, raisin. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like dried fruits, raisin, alcohol.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Reddish orange, hazy, medium off white head. Sticky toffee, marmalade, pine. Full bodied, a bit chewy, sweet and hoppy. Maybe it was my mood, but I drank the shit out of this! Delicious.

First sip is a strong hoppy malty alcohol beer. Every sip after becomes an ambrosia mix of theses same ingredients. Maybe the alcohol warmth but it keeps getting better. Last sip is extremely delicious.
