UPDATED: APR 13, 2014 Pretty good double ipa, on tap at the LA beer fest, they call it a "summer hop bomb", super bitter. Nose is citrus, orange cloudy hue. Oranges maybe. Nice finish.

On tap at Rough Draft. Big, resiny, tropical fruit bomb. A little too sweet and syrupy for me.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
double IPA for a fortnight and a day #3...Pours a hazy amber with a medium head that straight dies in half a second. I see one spot of lacing, and it’s tiny.
Very balanced smell, though a little weak. Some floral and citrus notes cover a sweet malt background.
I taste resin and sweat with a bit of citrus. The taste really throws me off.
The only thing that sticks to my mouth is a bitter sweaty aftertaste.
There is something off in the taste.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz. bottle, pours a clear orange amber with a medium beige head. Nose brings out mounds of resinous hops and a whopping caramel malt backbone. Flavour brings out loads of resinous hops, grass, a touch of tropical fruitiness, and a solid caramel malt backbone with little residual sweetness. On the heavier side in terms of viscosity without being too sweet. Not very sophisticated or drinkable, with the malts outshining the hops too much after a while. Not great.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Den här ölen hade en arom som var alldeles ljuvlig. Smaken bar toner av grapefrukt, druva, passionsfrukt, kroppen var stabil och balansen närvarande.
