3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Type: 22-oz. bottle
Glass: Manzanita pint glass
From: Costco in Mission Valley (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: March 29, 2015
Consumed: March 31, 2015
Poured a golden, pale, clear color with two fingers of off-white, frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom, reminding me of a snow globe. Below average wet spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Average retention. (Sight - 3.88)
Smelled sharp pine, grapefruit, Citra, Cascade, lime, floral, mango, tropical, caramel, light nectarine blossom and lemon zest. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t nearly as good as the nose. Maltier as well. Got caramel, Cascade, Citra, floral, pine and earthy grapefruit rind. (Taste - 3.75)
Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Lively-to-average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Crisp and refreshing. (Feel - 3.75)
This was OK for a session IPA and not a bad pickup for $3.79. Thank you Costco. (Overall - 3.75)

Draft. Serious aroma of tangerine pith. Flavors follow nose, and big, with peppery cracker malts at the finish. Some palate stickiness, esp in my cheeks, but that?s OK. Pretty super.

22 fl oz bottle into schooner glass. Excellent bitter lemon nose. Exuberant head, three fingers of foamy whiteness. Hazy pale amber beer with a few bubbles. Taste is also bitter lemon with a suggestion of grass and a tiny malt sweetness. Finish is prolonged citric bitterness. Really nice beer, well made.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is lemon grass, pineapple, straw and light sulphur. Taste is light sweet malts with a sudden full hop body that isn’t too complex. Finishes pretty smoothly however. Appearance is a clear orange with a fluffy pearl head that retains fairly well.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out crackery malts, some light piney hops, and lots of mineral notes. Flavour is dry, with notes of minerals, crackery malt, and light dry floral hops. Not the most interesting session IPA, but it’s brewed to style. Not bad.
