On tap at Rough Draft. I could sit at this place all day everyday. This is their session IPA which everyone seems to be doing suddenly. Reminds me of Founders All Day which is to me the definition of the style. But then here comes Rough Draft blowing everyone else out of the water with their hop concoctions. Invest now, folks. They’re the real deal. This is like all day IPA with grapefruit orange zest tossed in. Scrumptious.

Aroma: citrus with pine notes has a great west coast IPA nose to it.
Appearance: Golden in color
Taste: Great mouthfeel with the citrus pine hops and light body. I think they hit a home run with this beer, a great session IPA.. I definitely recommend...Cheers!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle. It pours a light golden color with a big, frothy white head. The aroma is floral and piney with some background bready malt. The flavor is floral hops with some dry, bready malt and solid bitterness. Nice flavorful session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This India Pale Ale pours a slightly cloudy yellow orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Large sized white rocky foamy head with long lasting retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with some grapefruit and pine. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and piney. Decent carbonation. Lots of grapefruity hop bitterness. This beer would make a good session IPA. Nice lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bomber pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a white head. The modest aroma offers up a thin mix of citrus, earthy herbal hops and some spicy hoppiness. The taste begins with a nice bitter citrus hop bite of grapefruit and tangerine. It then heads into some citrus hop flavor and spicy slightly onion like hops. It has a decent enough malty base creating a pleasing mouth feel. Pretty nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It is, by far, the best low alcohol IPA I have tasted. Seems most of the low alcohol (below 6%) IPA’s lack taste and aroma, but this one tastes and smells like a REAL IPA. I will definitely buy some of this and use it as a staple.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Undated bottle, assumedly Dec 2013 or Jan 2014, drunk on 2/1/14
Clear, very pale golden body is glassy, with a medium amount of white head that recedes slowly to cover, with plenty of lacing. No sediment on bottom.
A bouquet of flowers in the nose, with a dry, but not sharp perfume to it, trailing off in to a bit of citrus-mixed caramel sweetness. No flaws, no alcohol, no yeast. Filtration, albeit not heavily so, takes some of the strength out of the aroma, but it’s still pleasant, clear and clean.
Soft, well-attenuated malts provide a comforting mouthfeel as orange and light grapefruit bitterness provide interest on the palate. A touch of pine, more floral notes and moderate, engaging carbonation all make it assertive yet crisp. It definitely throws the hops on, with good but not overdone acidity. No alcohol/resin burn. Bit of wateriness, very simplistic malt bill. Could stand it even a touch more dry. Probably couldnt tell this apart from Founders All Day IPA. Thanks for the bottle, Brokensail
