Bottle shared at the Swamp Head Batch 600 release. Pours dark yellow pee color with a small creamy white head. Aroma of stale hops, lots of caramel malts, lemon peel. Smells like a barleywine to me. Flavor follows with some lemon, stale hops, and big bready malts. This is all barleywine at this point, so I assume itís been sitting around a while. Medium plus body with medium carbonation. Only OK, but knowingly had this past its prime. Not bad.

650ml brown bottle - bottleshare at Ferrisí place. Golden, hazy. Thin white head. Sweetish mango and grapefruity hops int he aroma, trace of dank. Taste has a bit of sweetness, grapefruit hops, a bit of alcohol at the end. Quite bitter, a bit drying. Nice.

Draft - Mandarin, mango and a bit of booze. Cloudy gold with white thin head. Tropical fruit and a bit of booze with a long finish. Not bad.

(22oz bomber) clear medium gold, soapy fine tan bubbles. Nose of sweet candied citrus, lemon, very malty, alcohol. Taste is extremely malty, unbalanced, spicy, alcoholic, sweet citrus, bready.

Itís a nice brassy orange color with a nice amount of well-sustained, off-white colored foam. Once it warmed I got aromas of apricot, caramel, booze, and pine sap. Itís DIPA thick and sweet with nice, fairly abrasive bitterness. Lots of caramel with some orange, maybe a little whiskey. It coats well and holds up well with warming, carb is spot on. I think this would be a strong year round offering. Yummy.

Bonus bomber from a recent trade. Light orange color. Good bibles and effervescence. Nice tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Tangerine and melon. My favorite right now. Finish is a little bit grapefruit bitter. Nice drink.

4/17/14. Appearance is light straw color with little head retention probably due to the ABV. Aroma is tropical fruit and piney resin. Taste likes a pineapple burst in your mouth with good body and dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. Pours a clear light amber, with a small white head that quickly dissipates, leaving fair lacing. Aroma is overpowering hops. Taste is all hops. Not well balanced at all. Would not buy again.
