500mL can, sent from OKBeerFan (thanks a lot, Matt), pours a dark copper with a large beige head. Aroma brings out a great quality of resinous hops, a little wood and some caramel biscuity malt. Flavour is potent and wonderfully balanced, with truckloads of resinous hops, some pine, a little wood, and just enough caramel bready malt. Couldn’t really be better balanced. This is a wonderful top-class IIPA.

Tap at the patriarch, OKC. Amber pour, nice lacy white head. Aroma is floral hops, piney, dank, a bit of resin and hints of tropical fruit. Taste is smooth, piney, light sweetness, well balanced. Fantastic beer. Smooth palate, medium carbonation. Fantastic, could be a top 50 DIPA I n my opinion. Comparable to a Lacumbre Elevated.

Can thanks to okbeerfan. Nose is moderate to high in Pune and medium-low citrus. A very light malt sugar note in the nose taste is immediately butter but not pithy, then switches it up with a ton of citrus and orange marmalade in your mouth. Not much pine resin in the flavor. Mid palate is lightly sweet. Finished with a bit of alcohol but not too much. Expected at 8%. Overall a very delightful DIPA.

Can via Jess P. Pours a medium orange/amber. Decent amount of head. Aroma slightly resinous, some citrus character as well. Body somewhat lively, with a slight resinous bitterness. Never would’ve guessed the ABV, this is very smooth.

Served in a Dogfish Head IPA glass A -Pours a hazed copper/amber color with a firmly tight head, off-white color. Loads of sticky lacing left from top to bottom S - Big bouquet of hops, like sticking your nose in a bag of hop pellets, grapefruit oils, orange peel, green pine, T - A mix of sweet citrus, papaya, and lychee fruit. Grainy malts add a nice generic background to let the hop flavors show. Sweet grapefruit starts dominating as it warms with pine etching in on the back end. The bitterness seems to hold steady from early middle to finish, with some resinous citrus oil left on the palate. M - Light side of full body, fine bubbled carbonation, somewhat hefty feel. Most DIPA’s tend to be less hoppy than regular IPA’s with the high amounts of malt just snuffing out the hops. This is one of the few out there that really pack in alot of hop flavors with descent bitterness and still provide a malt bill that compliments and doesn’t get in the way. 750 ml bottle thanks to soonerchamps. Pours a cloudy orange color with a nice medium foamy head that fades very slowly and leaves great lacing. Intense aroma of dank hops. Grass, pineapple, onion, mango, melon, pine with a touch of caramel and herbal hops too. Taste is very aggressive. Big tropical fruit taste mixed with all the other aromas. Thick and juicy too with some good caramel malt mixed in. Aftertaste is a bit oniony and herbal though. Strong bitterness throughout. This is an interesting and intense DIPA and I very much enjoyed it. Aftertaste could be a bit better but it’s definitely worth a try for aggresive hop lovers.

Bottle; Pour is murky orange ; interesting - with a frothy, yet somewhat modest white head into this glass ; it retains on the average side, eventually hazing this glass with some sticky lacing present here. The nose is dank hops; piney, citrus, brown sugar and caramel - The flavor profile is bittering hops fused with a reasonable malt backbone here. More pine and grapefruit come through, moving to cream and sweet bread, with a light spicey note as well. It has a nice drying effect, with a lingering bitterness on the finish. I was fairly impressed with this one

Poured into a pint glass a cloudy orange with a foamy head. Lots of lacing. Smells of citrus with a hint of hops. Grapefruit and pine hit the tongue first with a bit of a bitter finish. Medium mouth that’s a bit oily. This is a nice beer. Not my favorite, but something I would enjoy from time to time.
