BBB63 (3681), La Porte, Indiana, USA Mar 29, 2008 750ml corked bottle and served in standard pint glass: Clean coppery amber hue with a frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of walnut, caramel, bready, musty yeast, light notes of pepper and a hint of apricot ester. The taste is mild sweet malt with an earthy background without much depth. A hint of peppery spice and acidity towards the finish, light grassy hops show as it warms. The mouth feel is lively but short and thin. Oh well, another blah Amber Ale, not bad just completely forgettable.
