COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Harvest Ale comes from a single batch, brewed once a year as a salute to all hop lovers. We employ eight hop strikes, combining some of America’s most flavorful and aromatic hop varieties: Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook and Nugget. The finishing hops are freshly harvested from our estate vines and added to the beer within hours of picking. The result is a complex showcase of hop flavor and aroma balanced against a malt presence that is supported by a firm but not overwhelming bitterness.

Particulate laden hazy amber with a medium creamy tan head. Aroma of citrus fruits, floral hops, caramel and bready notes. Taste of floral hops, pale malt, mild off flavors. Not very sweet with low to medium bitterness.

Bottle. Sweet caramel, fruit, butter, citrus hops aroma. Amber with a moderate beige head, huge scummy chunks of sediment, ugly beer. Buttery caramel, piney-spicy-citrus hops flavor. Medium body and carbonation.\

Tap and bottle: Clean amber hue with a fading frothy and rocky head, sticky lace upon the pint glass. The aroma has notes of piney, leafy, resiny, and peppery hops along with grapefruit and tangerine esters. Caramel and biscuity malts along with a dash of soapy earthiness as well. The taste is a tad restrained by does display a nice balance of bitter versus sweet. Slight fruitiness and spiciness as well along with a bit of grainy papery dryness. Could stand a bit more sharpness and hop profile, an easy going APA.

Sample at Round barn brewery. Smells grapefruit, floral, fruity. Yellow/orange hue, tastes, grapefruit, almost like an IPA. Medium carbonated, full mouthfeel. Reminds me of a 3 floyds gumbal head with the cascade hops they use.

Straw colored pour with moderate white head. The nose is predominated by their home-grown variant of Cascade hops...citrus and pine. Lightly roasted caramel/toffee, grapefruit, pine resin. Very drinkable.
