COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

Bottle picked up in France by Jude (Loz’s sister) consumed at home Saturday 1st August 2015 Sweet caramel on the nose, reddy amber in colour with a large foamy off white head. Sweet and malty and a little chewy it’s fine but a tad safe. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Simple malts, faint aroma, herbal, tea, amber malts, bit of biscuit. Soft bitter taste, tea like. Not dull, so that’s nice, but still old fashioned and too simplistic. Especially the light palate makes this quite meh. (33cl bottle from Auchan Saint Cyr)

23/I/15 - 75cl bottle @ "I need to get rid of my Belgian ticks" tasting - BB: 3/VI/2016 (2015-89) Thanks to Alengrin for sharing the bottle!

Clear red beer, creamy irregular off-white head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: very fruity, sweet, caramel, sugary, some apples. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, pretty fruity, bit sourish, lemony, malty. Aftertaste: little bitter, hoppy, pretty fruity, banana, sweet, sugary.

Not impressed. Good body, nice color of drinks. But the taste is very simple, a little bitter, a little sweetness. Weak finish.

French amber beer from a 75 cl bottle, apparently brewed in the French Alps and in that sense far removed from the traditional bière de garde region. Sticky, snow white, moussy and very stable head, colour lightly hazy amber. Nutty malts, dried fruits, biscuit, walnuts, apricot, hints of caramel; restrained sweetness, bit metallic, malty with slight yeastiness and medium herbal hoppiness in the finish. Quite okay. Big thanks to Marie for bringing me this bottle all the way from the Mont Blanc region!
