COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the last creation of the Mont Blanc brewery. It is brewed with our pure water from our exclusive water catchment on the slopes of Mont Blanc, and from three differents malts : wheat, barley and oat. We wanted a beer that associates a full body malty taste but still a refreshing kick to it. We used a combination of top fermentation and delicate spices like Hibiscus to give it its ruby color and full taste with a hint of fruity notes. The result is a very complex yet very balanced amber beer that will blow you away! Formerly 7.2%

Bottle from local Yamaya store. Floral nose, with dark sugar and toffee. Orange/Amber color. Honey, dried stone fruit, raisins, vanilla, bread, yeast, and a light tangy finish. Medium body. Super sweet nose. Flavors are interesting, somewhat complex, not entirely integrated, and a rather sweet.

Bouteille: Almost clear, ruby-amber coloured, loose and slowly collapsing off-white head; sweet malty to caramelly nose with traces of dried berries; very sweet flavour, very low bitterness and a sticky MF; slightly lingering sweet flavour with a barely detectable bitterness in the aftertaste. Too monotonous, too sweet…

330ml bottle BB Dec 2016, 6.5%. Good marketing - 180 year old brewery, beer brewed with glacial water from Mont Blanc. I’m a sucker for this stuff. Very dark orange, quite clear, lightly sparkling, small foamy brown head, full lacing. Aroma is toffee, Cadbury’s Eclairs, light orange liquer notes. Body is medium, smooth, light carbonation. Taste is sweet and biscuity, metallic, some flinty minerals, earthy, sweet black cherry, raisin. Sweet Belgian-style vibe. Grew on me.

Couleur ambrée, très légère mousse beige. Nez de caramel cuit. Gout de caramel et malt d’orge un peu cremeux avec notes pain, fruitées noirs et légères épices. Bon corps. Petites amertume et caramel en fin de bouche.
