Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Nov 19, 2006 Draft at the brewpub, 11/14/06: Very still, slightly hazy. Laced head. Liquid lemon cookie; very sweet malt. Least favorite here. mattcoats (39), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Oct 24, 2006 To the note of the previous rater, this beer does have a nice "Koelsch-like quality", although I would put it somewhere between a lager and a koelsch. It lacked the richness that I would have expected, but its flavor was still good. It was certainly the best looking beer at Royal Bavaria. troyc (1005), Lubbock, Texas, USA Oct 18, 2006 (Tap) Pours a blonde color with a lasting white head. This beer has nice and balanced crisp hoppy notes. Pretty decent body for a low alcohol beer. This is a light and refreshing brew, but lacking some of the German Koelsch-like qualities that one might expect from this beer. MrRomero (1909), Killeen, Texas, USA Dec 9, 2005 Tap at the brewery: poured cloudy yellow with a small white head. Less offensive butter flavor than the other two but equally as bad. All these beers taste the same: Diacetyl bombs with very watery finishes. Very disappointing with these brews. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2004 tap at brewpub-sampled at the OK gathering-pours clear yellow hue with nimimal white head. aroma is mostly spicy german hops and some sweet malt notes. flavors are dead on for a great lager-nice spicy noble hop presence and some slight grassy notes on the finish. almost kolsh-like. good lager!
