2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2007 Can. Royal Brown Ale 4,6%. Copper/amber clear and golden colour. Beautiful and a bit creamy head. Aroma and taste of caramel, roasted malts. Some bitterness in the finish and ok long aftertaste. It´s not a proper BA for me. It has too much carbonation and too little caramel and sugars. Advice to the brewer: Take a visit to a pub, serving Newcastle BA, and taste the one & only!
