Los Cristianos, Tenerife 20/3 2016. 33 cl can from shady Asian minimarket. A very small post horn on the can with the usual declarations that this is a "Royal Dutch Premium Lager Beer". Pours clear pale yellow with white head that almost disappears completely. Aroma of sweet malts and chemical hand soap. Soft carbonation and extermely watery palate. Flavor is sweet and malty - and not much else. Very light bitterness in aftertaste. I have a hard time imagining the Dutch Royalty enjoying a can of this diluted excuse of a beer. But you never know.

330 ml can. Pours one inch of clear gold and six inches of foam. Aromas of sudsy cereal. Flavors of vacant watery malts. I see there is a "full flavor" version" - so what is this? A great job of hiding 5% but otherwise bland garbage. (Note to self - stop drinking beers from Greek grocery stores.)

Can. Light golden body, small head. Very weak aroma with something corny/sweet but nothing lagery. Well, as long as it doesn’t smell/taste foul I will still hand out some points. Sweet corny taste with minimal bitterness. Something sweet and mildly estery in there too, even a bit fruity. But it’s only very faint. More sweet corn in the finish. I can’t believe someone is paying for a "license" to synthesize this swill. On second thoughts, perhaps it’s a genius recipe that allows to spend the least amount of ingredients per batch to make something that could legally still be sold as a "beer".
