In glass it’s seen like a clear golden beer with a small and persistent foam head. The aroma it’s really good, with sweet notes like honey, caramel, nuts and vanilla. The taste is however really disappointing because is watery, the malt is just perceived and the hops aren’t felt at all.

Royal Dutch post horn • Aroma (9/10): Perfumes florales y tonos de miel. Interesante aroma para una lager. • Apariencia 4/5: o Cabeza (color, consistencia y duración):  Cabeza abundante color blanco, cremosa y de larga duración. Abundante nata o Cuerpo (textura, carbonización, partículas y color):  Muy burbujeante. Color amarillento cristalino.

Pours a clear yellow with a typical macro head. Tastes like a typical macro, but totally unpleasant. One of the few cheap beers found in Casablanca.

500ml can BB 18/4/2017 Light fruity grainy aroma. Poured light straw with Ok head and lacing. Medium bitterness which lingers is followed by a slight metallic note. Otherwise bland and inoffensive.

Los Cristianos, Tenerife 20/3 2016. 33 cl can from shady Asian minimarket. A very small post horn on the can with the usual declarations that this is a "Royal Dutch Premium Lager Beer". Pours clear pale yellow with white head that almost disappears completely. Aroma of sweet malts and chemical hand soap. Soft carbonation and extermely watery palate. Flavor is sweet and malty - and not much else. Very light bitterness in aftertaste. I have a hard time imagining the Dutch Royalty enjoying a can of this diluted excuse of a beer. But you never know.

Gerbeer (3156) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 2, 2015
330 ml can. Pours one inch of clear gold and six inches of foam. Aromas of sudsy cereal. Flavors of vacant watery malts. I see there is a "full flavor" version" - so what is this? A great job of hiding 5% but otherwise bland garbage. (Note to self - stop drinking beers from Greek grocery stores.)
