Light beige head. Body’s clear ruby with some brown influence. Rich lacing. Aroma; caramel malts, syrupy candies, cocoa, sweet coffee, dusty meadow. Taste; brown sweet malts, yellow apple bits, some cocoa notes, cream, grassy hops in the background. Soft enough on palate. Sweet finish with fruity aspects. Not bad, too many macro beer notes though. [33cl can 4.6%abv BB02.05.15 T@höme]

Here I was thoroughly surprised. I never thought that a brewery that has most distinguished itself with mass production dishwater beer could produce such a tasty brew. Nice butterscotch flavor and round maleness with just some carbonation, just like an English ale should be.

Can. 4.6%. Best before 02.04.15. Pours a clear dark amber/brown with a diminishing light tan head. Very little lacing. Sweet, malty aroma with notes of bread and molasses. A bit cloying. Flavour is sweet and malty and feels a bit watery and stale. Finish is molasses and bread, but feels more watery and stale than the initial flavour. Lingering fruity note. Overall not that well-made and -balanced; a basically mediocre beer which feels worse because of the watery and stale notes. 22.07.14.

Almost no head. Aroma bland. Deep coppery colour that promises much more this industrial product can keep. Taste somewhat sweet with hints of caramel. Aftertaste almost none existant and slightly metallice.

PapaVillum (604) - Valby, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2014
---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
