The first in the series of Royal beers from Ceres. An ok beer. Has a pale golden color and a quickly disappearing head. A taste of hops and honey

33cl can, 5.4% ABV. Pours pale yellow with a medium, frothy, off-white head that lasts through the tasting and leaves quite some lacing. Distinct aroma of corn. The taste is extremely sweet with only a hint of astringent bitterness. Very sweet finish like liquid pop corn.

tfredvik (1274) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2015
Crystal clear, medium golden body with an off-white, long-lived head that reduces to a fully lasting layer that laces the glass well. Malty, grainy, sweet and quite strong aroma of pale malts with faint sweet fruits in the back. Rather strong flavour of grain, pale malts, sugar, alcohol(!) and sweet fruits. Moderate sweet taste with hardly any bitterness to back it up, and this leads to a quite cloying drinking experience. Mid-bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Too sweet, not bitter enough and lacks the crispiness that a pale lager should have to save it from utter boringness.
[33 cl can as DAD Exxxport, enjoyed 4 months before BB date, courtesy of my little brother]

Kulhuse 23/10 2014. 33 cl can brought by my Father in law. Pours clear yellow with white head which disappears almost instantly. Aroma is rather sweetly and malty. Medium carbonation. Very sweet taste with notes of alcohol. Only a little bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a favorite.

ectuohy27 (679) - ESTONIA - JAN 7, 2015
Pretty standard lager--ice-cold at a Copenhagen 7-Eleven, it was notably more malty than hoppy, with a metallic lasting finish. Not wholly unpleasant, but not quite on the level of the Maes that the logo and type reminded me of.

Ljusgul med liten vit krona. Söt maltig brödig doft. Tämligen söt smak utan större överasknkngar. Inga felsmaker men inte heller särskilt spännande. En klassisk ljus lager
