Commercial Description:
Nothing says summer like the Belgian Witbier style, and our offering is no exception. Pilsner and Wheat malts are combined with a generous portion of raw (unmalted) wheat to create a soft malt character. Hop additions are kept to a minimum to make way for a unique set of flavors imparted to the beer through generous doses of fresh ground coriander and dried Spanish orange peel. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is served unfiltered in the classic style.

On tap at ROB. Murky yellow-brown body, thin off-white head. I could have mistaken it for urine if the contents smelled differently. Tangy body with bready wheat and strong coriander notes. Sweet and estery.

I had the Summer Zest, and I don’t know if it was the smoke, soapy glass or what but this was hard to smell. The cloudy yellow pour had a light citrus wheat aroma. It was the best beer that day for me, tasting of banana, wheat and spice with a smooth finish.

As "Summer Zest" at MBG 06. Orange peel / yeast aroma - nice. Cloudy yellow, small white head. Real nice "zesty taste - perfume, floral, yeast, orange peel, spicy - wow, a nice change of pace at the fest and very quenching. Almost like a Fantome or something similar. A really nice beer.

On tap at R.O.B. Nice yeasty-yellow color and good spicy aromas. Flavorful ale with hints of lemongrass, orange peel, and wheat. Good beer.

On tap at the Royal Oak Brew Pub. On the board as the "Summer Zest" beer listed @ 5% abv. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of spices, bananas, and light lemons. Tastes of wheat, spices, bananans, and light bubble gum. Lacing left on the glass.
