pours clear medium dark golden, red tint, with a very nice light pink head leaving lots of lacing. sweet pils, other sweetish cereals, fruitiness - berries or should i say miscellaneous, sweetened cranberry juice, dust and metal, herbal-grassiness, noble touch, bit of booze (!), chalk. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily, sweet herbal-grassy finish. not horrible at all.

50cl can from the SAQ labeled as "Faxe Red". Pours a clear red with a small and weak pink tinged head that still leave some lacing. Nose is of a crappy pale lager (corn, grass) but with a nice (albeit not that intense) fruity edge. It feels a little chemical/artificial a little, too. Taste is not quite sweet, strangely bitter and a little metallic. Fruity flavors of berries are in there and corn isn’t too disturbing. Body is light, mouthfeel pretty standard for a pale lager and carbonation just too damn high. I knew what to expect and this didn’t differ much. Bah.

Artificial red color , pink head. Malty aroma with berries notes. Sweet syrup in taste with light bitterness. Drinkable but very artificial.

Can, 33cl. Pours amber with red hue, thin off-white head. Fruity, malty head. Sweet light bitter taste. Light bodied. Bit boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml can as Faxe Red 5.0% ABV. Clear berry red, pink fading foam. Yeasty berry fruity aroma. Dirty corny cranberry-ish taste, artificial sweetener, glucose syrup. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Might be a dead mouse in there. Drainpour. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

we got it as "faxe red" at my liquor store. it’s basically faxe premium with red food colouring. never seen a red ale so artificially red looking in my life. cheap beer for cheap people who want to pretend they are expanding their horizons. it looks like white zinfandel. spooky. spooky and strange.

Good fruite beer. Red in color with medium head. Aroma of fruits with the same taste of fruity beer. Pleasant sour aftertaste
