Great appearance, massive clarity coming out of a glowing yellow and tangerine orange colored beer with a thin egg shell white head to it. Big deep piney aroma, complimented with deep orange citrus .

Many elements of a good West Coast IPA in the hop bouquet...most super citrus. No DIPA common characteristics of full body, alcohol , or real back bone. It had a candy Sweet Tart like taste and chalkiness that wasn’t unpleasant but was fairly different/strange. Glad to try it for sure.

This was a good ipa, but pretty dry, reflecting the 8 %. OK hop aroma. Flavor was nice and bitter. Just seemed pretty typical of a ipa, nothing special, nothing terrible.

Bottle. Clear orange pour, with a sticky white head. Grapefruit, citrus, peppery hops, sweet malt, caramel, sweet fruit, and some grain. Meh, it’s too sweet for my liking of DIPA.

Bottle shared with some friends. Dark amber gold color. Hoppy aroma with hints of citrus and spice. Flavor is hoppy with a solid malt backing. A solid showing by this one.

Bomber poured into pint glass. This was a nice surprise, especially for the price. I poured mine when it wasn’t quite chilled down enough, so I will buy another and rerate if necessary. Good grapefruit nose. Dark orange, very clear. Taste has good balance of malt and citrus hop. Nice lasting finish that coats the tongue. Enjoyable bomber of DIPA, especially for 4.49! I will buy another.

22oz bottle. Rating #24. Slightly hazy dark orange with a bit of light brown mixed in and a decent white head with a pretty sticky lace. Nice juicy grapefruit aroma, a little sweet and a nice bit of malts to balance things out. Flavor was a little sweet, more citrus and grapefruit, very clean with a moderately lingering aftertaste. On tap in sample size at the 2011 Bistro DIPA Fest. Pours a clear dark gold with a thin white film of a head. Aroma is sweet and perfumey with flowers and molasses coming to mind. Brown malt flavor with molasses and a mild soy sauce thing to go with the candied hop notes. Sweet but not overly sticky on the palate. Weird but tasty.

Golden Orange pour with no head. Nose is citrusy hops and honey malt
Light body with sweet honey malt and citrusy/piney hops.
Quick bitter finish.
Too sweet for me but still nice.
